Press: Report the Festival With Clear Context

Prepare accurate coverage that distinguishes current announcements, historical facts, and cultural interpretation.

Check the edition and the source

Confirm the festival name, edition, date, venue, organizer, and announcement status before publishing. The 2026 archive and future festival page serve different purposes. A saved flyer or past news story should not be used to establish an unannounced future detail.

For quotations, confirm the speaker’s name and role. Attribute personal memories to the speaker and distinguish them from documented historical claims. For a cultural performance, ask the artists how they describe the tradition and their own work.

Use images and interviews responsibly

Request permission and credit requirements for supplied photos, logos, or recordings. Keep captions connected to the correct year and event. A photo of a past performer must not imply a confirmed future appearance.

Use the contact page for a media inquiry and identify the outlet, topic, deadline, and requested materials. A formal press contact, accreditation policy, media kit, or usage license will only be established when organizers supply it.

Caption the edition correctly

A caption should identify who or what is shown, the documented event, and the year. Avoid implying that a past photograph represents the next edition’s lineup or venue. Keep the creator’s credit and usage permission with the file. If details are not known, ask for clarification instead of supplying a plausible name or date.
